Chin Chin and the CWOs

CWO stands for Chin Women's Organization. Liz is shown with the CWO in Champhai. We have about ten of these groups distributed throughout Mizoram.

The CWOs help us with the youngest and poorest of the Chin children. They visit families, and select children who are too poor to attend school. They give small amounts of financial aid and help the families support children through primary school.

Travel throughout Mizoram is difficult so we have acquired Chin Chin, pictured at right to visit the CWOs and report on their work.
