On the Burma Border The very first video of our work taken in 2000 by our niece Dianne Becker, a photojournalist who has visited us several times in Asia. The video shows interviews with Dr. Cynthia, a refugee and a doctor who provides her services to all Burmese on a charity basis. It also shows an interview with Naw Tamla a refugee and the host of our first trip in 1992, and an interview with Tin Maung Latt, a student soldier in the uprising of 8/8/88. |

With the Chin in Mizoram We first visited Chin refugees in the millennium year 2000. We met a very different people in a situation of deep poverty. This video shows us visiting with Chin women and discussing our efforts to help poor children attend school. Also we show a trip to Zokhawthar which is located right on the Burma border. No Kap, a teacher from Champhai, talks about the recent refugees and their struggle with poverty. Finally we interview Pianga in Aizawl where he talks about the results of our work . |
